The Organisation
The objectives for which Every Family Matters is established:- To advance the education of the public through training, support and development of personal empowerment to create self-responsibility.
- To develop the capacity and skills of members of the public who are socially and economically disadvantaged, thereby enabling them to better identify and meet their needs and participate more fully in society. We are developing and pioneering strategies empowering beneficial emotional change and resilience within the family unit and wider community.
- To deliver and support empowerment projects which actively help socially and economically disadvantaged parents and carers to independently build sustainable and economically inclusive communities.
- To engage and empower young people of every age so that they have a greater say in their own future in these changing and unpredictable times. This will reduce their fear of the unknown and increase their capability to cope with change and the unexpected. Stability, as we knew it, has gone forever, it is our duty to recognise this and equip them to cope better with change and the unknown.
A passion to change education
Sir John Whitmore PhD who first introduced coaching and leadership into major multinationals in the UK 30 years ago, is our Chairman. He has a passion to change education, (see his visionary article) which fits neatly into our vision to create an ethos of empowerment around young people. We want to take this approach into education and the community to change the fabric of our society from the inside out.
Develop Your Child C.I.C (a social enterprise) is our trading arm and it's most successfull brand is the Parent Chamnpion programme.
