Our projects
Currently being delivered are:
1) A Big Lottery Fund grant of £77,000 allows a 2 year rollout of our successful Parent Champion programme. It takes place in 2 Children's Centres in Medway and involves a weekly social, information and learning experience, followed by 2 levels of training, one is OCN accredited and a University evaluation. We have developed an online community to provide sustainability, see Parent Champion Community.2) Stepping Stones School (SEN) is piloting our transformational Ethos of Empowerment programme which commenced in September. We will be working with the teachers, support staff, pupils and parents to create a personal development whole school culture.
Currently under development are:
1) The Missing Link - we are very excited with the potential of extending our empowering families approach to families of offenders. The implementation is being developed to include training prisoners whilst in Open conditions to facilitate the Family Coaching Cafe sessions, funding opportunities are being sought.2) The "Get a New Life" programme incorporates school assemblies, parent social gatherings with light touch coaching and progressing to a whole family coaching programme.
3) The "Breakthrough project" is a whole family coaching programme involving each family member both individually and in group sessions.
